The Bible teaches that man is made in the image of God and has a spirit that is eternal and connected to God. Man's spirit is seen as the essence of his being, capable of knowing and communing with God.
No - actually the complete opposite. It says in Numbers 23:19 that "God is not a man that He should lie, or the Son of man that He should change His mind." = = Note that the Bible does indeed say that God is not of flesh that He is spirit but the Bible does refer to God as Father or He, Jesus as the Son of man or He and the Holy Spirit as He. All of these names or pronouns are masculine.
The Bible mentions nothing about Jezebel's spirit.
The Bible doesn't say "brain."The "human spirit" resides in the physical human brain... which gives man "intelligence, intellect -- MIND." It's what gives man the ability to think, plan, dream, create... understand."...the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens... and formeth the spirit of man within him." (Zech.12:1)"...the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer." (Job 20:3)"...there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding." (Job 32:8)"...be renewed in the SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND..." (Eph.4:23).
It simply does not say this in the Bible.
The Bible teaches that the human spirit is a vital part of a person's being, created by God and capable of connecting with Him. It is seen as the innermost essence of a person, where emotions, thoughts, and beliefs reside. The Bible also emphasizes the importance of nurturing and strengthening the human spirit through faith, prayer, and living according to God's teachings.
Jesus said it himself in the Bible that "I and my father are one" so whatever God possess He possess. Jesus was invested by the Holy Spirit by turning His soul in the direction of God. When you consider Jesus, you can say this is God, you can say He is the image of God, you can say the Holy Spirit is reflected in Him, and you can say He is a son of man, the child of Mary and Joseph.
the question is what does the holy spirit say to you about dreadlocks, not what does your yearn or desire say about dreadlocks?

The Bible talks about the body being the temple of the holy spirit. Keeping it healthy is God honoring. Eating disorders are, no matter what people say, unhealthy.
He was not killed. He gave up his own spirit. Because he had the power to do it. Holy Bible.
The Bible does not say that anywhere.
