Angels play a significant role in the life and teachings of Mother Mary as messengers of God who deliver important messages and guidance to her. They are often depicted in religious texts and artwork as announcing the birth of Jesus and providing comfort and support to Mary throughout her life.
If one believes in Roman Catholic or Christian teachings, Jesus is the Son of God and Mary is his mother who bore Jesus immaculately. The chain with Jesus and Mary on it symbolizes the eternal bond of a mother to her child.
Yes. As the Mother of God to be, she was chosen by Him for her purity and sinless life.
Mary was the mother of God and lived a sin free life.
The Virgin Mary's life was very blessed. She was the mother of Jesus Christ. She gave birth to him in a manger in Jerusalem.
Mother Mary's life is not similar to the life of Jesus Christ. Mother Mary life the life of a house wife as the wife of Joseph while Jesus Christ lived the life of a saint roaming around preaching the Good news. Jesus was constantly opposed and insulted by the Pharisees but Mary lead a relatively less pressurized life. Jesus Christ was tortured and killed but Mary died a normal death. Just a note to the above answer: Catholics believe that Mother Mary never died, she was assumed into heaven. Mary sacrificed her life and obeyed to God's every will. A small note on Catholic belief about Mary: As mentioned above Catholics do believe that Mother Mary as assumed into heaven. But this belief has no scriptural base. There is this many other stories that the Catholic Church intends to elevate Mary to a Godly state. Mother Mary was in all respect an ordinary lady but she need our atmost respect as she was chosen to be the Mother of Our Lord. She did suffer a lot on account of her son as would any mother for their son. She was as (seen in the Bible) a good wife to her husband who was blessed with other children. Joseph also need to be respected as he believed the Lord and took Mary as his wife. Our Mother was a good woman who realized who her son was and who gave Him the atmost respect and who even when sorrow pierced her heart never interfered with her son's work.
No, not that we know of. The Blessed Virgin Mary's mother was Saint Ann, who had Mary late in life, after many years of praying for a child. Mary WAS the Immaculate Conception, not to get confused with the common thought of doctrine stating Mary HAD an Immaculate Conception.
She probably lived in Nazareth.

God granted the favor to Mary because she never sinned in her life, not even once.
We don't have a Virgin Mary figure. We do however have the Maiden, The Mother and the Croon. They represent life in the begin, the middle and the end.
Mary was originally a Jew. She was born a Jew but followed the religion of her son later in life - Christianity.
There are two dogmas that have been solemnly defined by the pope concerning Mary: 1) That Mary was Immaculately conceived 2) That Mary was Assumed into heaven body and soul There is one teaching that has been defined by a Council of the Church (Ephesus:) That Mary is the God Bearer. In the Latin west, the Greek word for "God Bearer" was translated into Latin "Mother of God." "God Bearer" is a more literal rendering of the Greek, but Mother of God is the dynamic equivalent. This does not mean there are no other beliefs about Mary, but it DOES mean that these are the only two teachings which have been solemnly defined. The Perpetual Virginity of Mary is an example of a belief which is part of the Tradition but has never been solemnly defined. Protestants reject these teachings as a whole believing them to be unbliblical. While it can be granted that the teachings have no explicit biblical warrant, (though how much evidence to Protestants want from the Bible that Mary is the Mother of God?) the teachings are not contra-bible. That Mary is Immaculate draws out the explicit Biblical truth that the Church is perfect, it is spotless, stainless, holy, and pure. That Mary is a Perpetual Virgin draws out the Biblical truth that the Church is unique, that it belongs only to Christ. That Mary is assumed into heaven draws out the Biblical truth of the resurrection of the dead---God will raise the members of the Church body and soul to every lasting life. That Mary is the God Bearer draws out the Biblical truth that the Church is the Mercy Seat; that is to say the Church bears God's presence to the word in every generation. In short, while the teachings of Mary do not have express and explicit biblical warrant, they DO draw out and make concrete the promises of Christ for the Church. Mary is a mirror of the Church. To understand Mary is to understand our eternal destiny. To understand Mary is to understand what it truly means to be redeemed. It is this concept that Protestants fail to grasp.
