God was not angry. Adam and Eve disobeyed God's order not to eat of a particular tree. They broke trust/faith by believing the serpent instead of God. God warned them that in the day they ate they would most assuredly die. The serpent came along and said "You will not die. What's more, you will be like Gods yourselves. God is trying to keep you from bettering yourselves." Thus convinced against their own best interests by Satan, Eve and Adam disbelieved/disobeyed God, and acted against their own best interests. But God was NOT ANGRY for he knew this would happen.
