What Did Jesus Do to Prove His Love?

Jesus proved his love for us by dieing on the cross for us to save our sins. But he didnt do it just to save our sins he did it because he loves us.

This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9,10

Ultimately Jesus presented Himself as a sacrifice and died on the cross of Calvary to save mankind from their sins. Mankind is born in sin and mankind needed a Savior or be subject to hell. Jesus offered Himself to pay for our sins. But Jesus' sacrifice is not automatic. For a person to be saved from their sin they have to accept Jesus as their Savior. In order to do this you have to believe on Jesus Christ. John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father (God in heaven) except through Me. Jesus is the only way to heaven.

While on earth Jesus fed the hungry, healed the lame, the blind, the sick and raised some back to life. If this is not love, then there is no love.
