Opinion 1:

It's a Multi-Level Marketing company selling beauty and bath products, specifically targeted to minority women. It's represented as also a way for such women to become representatives and earn large amounts of money from home.

Regrettably while the goals sound nice, when it's all said and done, they are a Multi-Level Marketing company. Which no matter how you slice it, does not equal a great employment opportunity for 99% of those who try it or any of it's equivalents - such as Herbalife, Mary Kay, Amway, etc.

This company is very young. It started in 2008. It has 2 official employees, the representatives do not count as employees. You must pay a fee to work for them, an upfront fee that varies but is usually between $35 and $150.

They are not accredited with the Better Business Bureau, though the BBB still rates people who are not accredited. The grade given to Soul Purpose is a B+, mainly for their company not having existed long.

There is only one complaint listed, and that was resolved. That actually is a good thing, and it appears that while the company is probably not a great employment opportunity, they are at least selling products honestly, and not ripping off consumers.
