What are the current issues facing Hinduism?

Challenges that Hindus are facing in the modern day world are:

1. Conversions to other religions like - Christianity and Islam.
2. Lack of understanding of the meaning of 'worship' and 'divinity'.
3. People not understanding the rich tradition and culture of the oldest religion on earth.
4. Not understanding the concept of worshiping god in a form.
5. Reservation based on caste and religion.

Islam and Christian forces, well organized and funded, are out to convert the whole world. In contrast, Hinduism teaches to not convert anyone against one's will.

Thus Hindus need to practice Hindu dharma correctly, stop malpractice like Caste System, and with unity stop the missionary activities of Islam and Christianity in India, the land of the Hindus since millenniums. Because Hindu dharma is inherently secular, then need to make India a Hindu state.

taboos, social inequality & superstitions are some of the basic problems. While lack of knowledge in normal people about Hinduism is also a challenge.
