There are more than a few, hence a recent poll of over 30,000 churches/organizations worldwide which call themselves Christian - each with differences in their stated beliefs.

Some of the major differences are:

* Godhead - how many divine beings in it currently?

* Sabbath - the God-given 7th day of rest (Sunset Friday to sunset Saturday) or is it the 1st day of the week or another?

* Laws of God - are all the Laws given to the Israelites still in place/modified or have just the Sacrificial and Cleansing laws done away with by Jesus, the eternal High Priest?

* Intercession - can Mother Mary and other 'Saints' intercede on behalf of mankind or is Jesus the only Intercessor?

* Confession - can one simply and privately confess to God or must one see an official 'Priest?'

* Food - are dietary Laws still in effect or have they been done away with?

* Works - is salvation of Grace or can works save a person? Are new diciples expected to do God's good works?

* Government - is God's government found in a large organization or a 'little flock?

* Judgment - does one get judged immediately at death or do they just sleep and are then awakened in a specific order for the judgment process?

* Heaven/Hell/Rapture - just what is the correct definition of each?

* Millenial Rule - before/during/after the Tribulation Period?

Depending on what one group accepts, modifies, or discounts will give the questioner their answer to this question for the most part. There will be some with other, 'minor' differences.
