One consequence of Adam's and Eve's disrespect for God is the loss of a garden paradise as the home for human beings. Another consequence is the hard work of survival to which Adam doomed himself and human beings. Because of Adam's disobedience, people have to work hard for the money. Still another consequence is the pain of childbearing to which Eve doomed herself and all subsequent mothers.
