The official day is Friday (in Arabic Jomaa day). However, Muslims on Friday are allowed to work or to do any business except during time of noon prayer where they should go to the mosque for gathering listening to sermon and for gathering praying the noon prayer that is called "Jomaa praying". Muslims do not believe that the rest day was the day that God took rest after creating the universe in the other six days. They believe that God create every thing by the word 'be' then 'it is'. He is free from being tired or exhausted.
