Unleavened bread (Bread without yeast) and wine are the essentials in Holy Communion. You must have quite a good memory to remember the important words alone so a book or prayer sheet with the rites would be handy as well.
The Eucharist Some Anglicans may use the term "Holy Communion" but it means the same thing.
When a Christian is dying (or a person who has been away from the church and God for a while) and asks to have his priest or preacher by his side to give him the "last rites", basically he is asking for the Holy Eucharist and prayers. In the Episcopal Church and the Roman Catholic Church, Holy Communion is the Holy Eucharist. There is a formal, written ritual ceremony in the Book of Common Prayer for the Episcopal Church to use. The Priest brings consecrated (made holy) wine and a wafer to the sick person's bedside. He reads the ceremony, gives the wine and wafer at the appropriate place, and offers prayers to God on behalf of the person who is sick and dying. That person may choose to confess his sins at that time.
A baptismal font
Depends; if we're talking about the Holy Water in the fonts (the ones you use to bless yourself when entering/exiting the Nave) and Baptismal Font then it is left their. Holy Water that is in the aspergillium (Holy Water sprinkler), aspersorium (Bucket for the aspergillium), and the water used for ablutions (Priest's washing of hands) is probably poured into the Baptismal Font or down the Sacrarium (special sink that leads directly to the ground that is used for cleaning anything that came into contact with the Eucharist). A lot of parishes also have tin spigot-like containers with Holy Water in it for parishioners to take home for personal use; The Holy Water is also left in these containers. Now, if the Holy Water becomes gunky or suffers stagnation, it is poured down the Sacrarium and new water is blessed by the parish Priest.
I went to celebrate mass as my son was baptised before taking confession and Holy Communion while my nephew was being confirmed at the wedding of my sister who requested benedicion as part of the service.OROnce a person is baptized, confirmed, and receives Holy Eucharist then that person is a fully-initiated member of the Catholic Church who can then go to Confession, get married in the Church (or become a priest through Holy Orders if he so desires), and receive the Anointing of the Sick if he is ever in danger of death.
a cross a fish
It is an ancient tradition of the Christian Church not to celebrate the Eucharist or Mass Or Divine Liturgy on Good Friday. This tradition continues to be observed in virtually all Christian Churches, whether Roman Catholic, Eastern Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican or Protestant. But, virtually all Christian Churches have a prayer service on Good Friday, albeit a prayer service that does not include a complete Eucharist. Churches that practice Reservation of the Blessed Sacrament may distribute Holy Communion on Good Friday as part of the non - Eucharist Prayer Service. They use bread previously consecrated. Usually the previously - consecrated bread comes from the Holy Thursday Evening Eucharist commemorating the Last Supper. So it is quite possible to receive Holy Communion on Good Friday, but it is not possible to attend a Eucharist, Mass, or Divine Liturgy on Good Friday.
Catholics celebrate the Eucharist every Sunday at mass.
The minister will next sanctify the attendees.
In World of Warcraft only 2 classes use Holy Magic: the Priest and the Paladin. Since the cap on character level is presently 70 (to go to 80 with next expansion pack), the 'highest ranking user' of Holy Magic would be a level 70 Paladin or a level 70 Priest. As to strength, the Holy Priest has more efficient and stronger heals, the Paladin has better attack abilities against the Undead; both of which require Holy Magic to be used.
An aspergillum is used to sprinkle the congregation with holy water. Sometimes a priest may use an ornate 'bucket' to contain the holy water and use a bough from a tree, bush or palm frond to sprinkle the water.
The vestment that signifies ordination is the chasuble. Worn by priests during the celebration of the Eucharist, the chasuble symbolizes their role as a minister of Christ and the Church. Its use reflects the priest's commitment to serving the faithful and administering the sacraments.
