Varnashramas, in Hindu philosophy, refer to the four varnas (social classes) and four ashramas (stages of life) that structure societal and individual duties. The varnas include Brahmins (priests and scholars), Kshatriyas (warriors and rulers), Vaishyas (merchants and farmers), and Shudras (laborers and service providers). The ashramas represent the stages of life: Brahmacharya (student), Grihastha (householder), Vanaprastha (hermit), and Sannyasa (renounced). Together, varnashramas provide a framework for ethical living and social order, guiding individuals in their roles and responsibilities throughout their lives.
