Paul's epistles are letters to different churches giving them instruction how how they should be living, as well as encouragement. Though not all epistles are to specific churches, all are generally similar in that they give guidelines for living, reiterate the gospel message in some form, encourage the reader, and occasionally chastise the Church receiving the letter.
