Jesus died because of crucifixion

Answer

Jesus Christ died redeem man from sin to which man is slave. He died to save man from hell and to make for man a path to Heaven.

Answer

It's slightly more complicated than the answer given above.

First, you must understand that you are here in the flesh, on probation. There was an earth eon (age) prior to this one (2nd Peter chapter 3), this one is reserved unto judgement as it is stated in 2nd Peter chapter 3 and Revelation chapter 20

Second you must understand the law according to our Father (Leviticus), there you will find that all sin is transgression against the law and that sin must be paid for. The payment is defined in the book of Leviticus. Initially animals were given as sacrifice. Animals were among a mans most prized possessions. In some cases a life had to be given to absolve the individual of specific sins. Our Father gave his only begotten son to be the sacrifice for on and all time for the sins of men. You will find a very deep and intensive study of this subject in the book of Hebrews.

Christ gave up his life so that you and I could be forgiven and start anew. Is there any man or woman among us who would do the same? With this sacrifice, Christ became earned the right of High Priest and King.

As I mentioned earlier, this is a very abbreviated summary, one would need to read some specific texts in order to get the complete picture, however this should get you started on the right foot. And remember, dont simply take my word for this, go study and verify what I have written is correct.
