2nd Corinthians chapter 2
There is no "seventh heaven" in the bible. Paul speaks about the "third heaven" in 2 Corinth
It seems that the Apostle Paul did go to heaven for a short while at the city of Lystra. It is outlined in Acts chapter 14 and it is possible it was a near death experience.
Paul The Apostle was arrested in Caesarea.
St. Paul, we presume, is in Heaven.
Paul Heaven has written: 'The education of looked-after children in open and closed settings'
Heaven Sent - Paul Haig song - was created in 1983-04.
In Christian theology, Satan is often described as having been cast out of heaven due to his rebellion against God. This event is traditionally associated with passages like Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:12-17, which are interpreted as references to his fall. However, the concept of "the third heaven" specifically is more closely linked to the apostle Paul's mention in 2 Corinthians 12:2, which does not directly relate to Satan's expulsion. Thus, while Satan was cast out of heaven, the idea of "the third heaven" is not explicitly tied to this narrative.
Yes.
God gave the apostle Paul a glimpse of the future heaven that John described in the book of Revelation. II Corinthians 12:2 "I knew a man in Christ... such an one caught up to the third heaven." Revelation 21:1 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first [former] heaven and the first [former] earth were passed away..." The third heaven mentioned by the Apostle Paul in the Bible is not third geographically, but third chronologically. II Peter also corroborates there will be a third heaven and Earth. II Peter 3:13 "Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness." What God showed Paul gave him great encouragement during a period of extreme persecution. II Corinthians 12:4 "How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter." God showed Paul that the encouragement was specifically for him and that sharing the details of it was not profitable. Encouragement, especially for us, is shared in other sections of Scripture. Romans 8:18 "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." As we look forward to Christ's return, we know that we do not labor in vain and will experience firsthand the new heaven and Earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.
The apostle Paul mentions the concept of three heavens in 2 Corinthians 12:2, where he refers to being caught up to the third heaven. This idea is not further elaborated upon in the Bible, leaving room for interpretation about its meaning.
St. Paul's soul is alive and well in Heaven.
He lives in Heaven
