Most Hindus do not eat meat although many do. It it best to ask that person if he is strict vegetarian or not. If, he is strict vegetarian, then you can go to market and buy anything that has a V ( Vegetarian ) sign on it. Common things that are not Vegetarian are Lasagnia, Sheperd's pie and eggs although many ice-creams and salads also contain Gelatin from animals. Take care not to but these things but buy everything else that bears V mark. And, if that person is not Veggie, like most Hindus are nowadays, you can serve anything that you like.
