whenever god cleansed us of sins
The first mention of rain in the bible , comes with the great flood at Noahs time.
One of the great catastrophes would have been the 40 day flood.
After the flood of Noah's day was the FIRST mention of eating flesh. (Genesis 9:3+4)
You're confusing Adam and Noah. Adam died hundreds of years before the Flood, since the Flood was 1656 years after Creation. As for Noah (and his family), he survived by being in the ark, with God's protection.See also:Lifespans of the ancients
In Christian and Jewish teachings, God is believed to have created the firmament, separating the waters above from the waters below on the second day, not the ninth day. On the ninth day, God rested from His work of creation, according to the Bible in Genesis.
The Bible only has one race of mankind. Thus, the race was created on day six. The variations between people have occurred after the post-Flood dispersion from Babel. All the genetic information for these differences were contained in Adam and Eve's DNA.
The Great Saint Patrick's Day Flood was created in 2004.
After the earthwide flood of Noah's day, God provided a rainbow as a reminder that he would NEVER bring the earth to ruin by a flood again.(Genesis 9:13-17) God said: "My rainbow I do give in the cloud, and it must serve as a sign of the covenant between me and the earth... and no more will the waters become a deluge to bring all flesh to ruin. ..."(And Revelation 4:3 and 10:1 use rainbows to describe the beauty of heavenly beings)
The Great Saint Patrick's Day Flood has 104 pages.
If you are referring to the events closest to the flood itself:Genesis 7:11 (King James Version)11In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
If I'm correct, on the third day:6 Then God said, "Let there be a space between the waters, to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth." 7 And that is what happened. God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens. 8 God called the space "sky."And evening passed and morning came, marking the second day.9 Then God said, "Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear." And that is what happened. 10 God called the dry ground "land" and the waters "seas." And God saw that it was good. After this it says he created vegetation, and considering that i would assume that rivers would exist, thus rivers would have been created on the third day.
According to the Bible, 'global warming' had nothing to do with the flood of Noah's day. God intentionally brought the flood to cleanse the earth (Genesis 6:11-13,17)(Genesis 7:23-8:3). The problem of "Global Warming" is a fairly recent development believed to be caused by man's use of a variety of chemical pollutants.
