What did God create on the secondt day?

On the second day GOD made a space between the waters of the heavens, and the waters of the earth. in other words, GOD made the sky. with a layer of water to protect humans from uv rays. that layer is what caused the 40 days and nights of rain in the great flood that noah and his family survived.
