According to Genesis 7:2-3 in The Bible, God told Noah to take seven pairs of two (the two being a male and a female) of every clean animal (those that were acceptable for food and for sacrifice) and just one pair (male and female) of all other animals to keep their kind alive on he earth.
Noah gathered the clean beasts by sevens for the ark by following God's instructions to bring seven pairs of each clean animal on board.
That's what The Book said. noah only took two of each animal, unless it was a clean animal. clean animals were used for sacrifices and in worship so noah took more of those animals. I'm not positive but i think he took seven of each clean animal.
seven each. See Genesis 7:2-3.
Noah took two of each kind of animal on the ark.
According to the Bible, Noah's Ark carried two of each kind of unclean animal and seven of each kind of clean animal, along with Noah, his family, and provisions for them all during the great flood.
2 of each Animal on Noah's Ark
Nothing! Critics like to misrepresent the references to by two's meaning a male and female in each pair and the reference to specifics which tells us there were 7 pairs of each clean beast and 2 of each unclean beast
The Bible does not specify the exact number of each animal on Noah's Ark, but it mentions that Noah took seven pairs of each clean animal and one pair of each unclean animal. Therefore, there would have been more than two pigs on the Ark, as pigs are considered unclean animals. This means there would have been at least two pigs, but likely more, as they were taken in pairs.
Moses brought none at all. When Noah saw that, he said "This will never do!", and brought in two elephants.
Noah built the ark. And just so you know, there wasn't two of each animal. Noah took "seven of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth." (Genesis 7:2-3)
The account in the book of Genesis (roughly chapters 6-8) do not mention anything about how the animals entered the ark. It does say that there was a single door to the ark (Genesis 6:16), but how big that door was is not specified. Tradition says the animals entered "two by two." Tradition also forgets to note that Noah was told to bring in 7 of each type of clean animal, not just the standard "one pair of each."
