This is my opinion. Mary and Joseph would sell it to survive in Egypt Also, they would use the money during Jesus' triumphant entry to Jerusalem as a humble king. Mary would use the frankincense as an offering to God during the last week of Jesus on earth, especially when Christ prayed a high priestly prayer for himself, his disciples and for us his believers.
Mary would use myrrh for Christ's burial. But the women came to the tomb, he was already risen from the dead. So she would save it as a remembrance for her son.
I think, God would save the gold from the wise men in the New Jerusalem in heaven and we would see it.
Maranatha Hallelujah
Gold frankincense and myrrh were for Jesus not the parents
The Magi [Maj-eye ] were the three wise men. Juesus' Mother is Mary.
No record of this in the Bible, but we can presume that Mary and Joseph held high respect for the wise men as they allowed them to worship baby Jesus and give their gifts to him.
Joseph and Mary where at the actual birth. The three wise men and the shepherds came along slightly later.
Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the angel Gabriel and the three wise menThe wise men didn´t get there until 6th January. That day is called Epiphany.
They were Joseph and the sheperds abnd finaly the three wise men who saw Jesus first.
Gold, Frankinsense, and Myrhh !
The Russian Christmas legend includes the Wise Men being misdirected and Mary and Joseph being turned away. In the legend, Babousckla is the one who did these things.
the magi...the three wise men who visited baby Jesus I would have guessed it to be Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus.
Yes, the gifts were very valuable.
It is not recorded that He was ever unattended. The Little Drummer Boy found him, the oxen and sheep found him, and the Three Wise Men found him. But His parents, Mary and Joseph, never 'lost' him there.
There is no record in the Bible that I can see of anyone visiting Jesus Mary and Joseph 12 days after Jesus' birth. The only visitors to them all that seem to be recorded, are the three wise men and the shepherds, who visited them in the cattle shed just after the child was born.
