This depends on what religion you are. I am a Roman Catholic, therefore I celebrate it on the Thursday before Easter.

All Catholic churches , Roman and Eastern Rite recognize the Primacy ( primary authority) of the Pope as a pastor-in-chief, to say the least. Russian and Greek Orthodoxy however does not acknowledge the Papacy.

Presbyterians have organized worship services, during which the Lord's Supper is periodically celebrated. Presbyterians do not celebrate the "mass" that is celebrated in the Roman Catholic tradition.
They are Roman Catholics because I am Vietnamese and I am Catholic. Some churches are Catholic churches for Vietnamese people. Not a lot of people are Catholics in Vietnam. Most are Buddhist.
