"Cohabitation" typically refers to a situation in which a couple is living as husband and wife before they are married. The Church does not approve of this arrangement. For one, sexual intercourse is meant to occur within the context of marriage. It is only then the sex act is free to pursue it's proper ends: the free, total, faithful, and fruitful union of husband and wife. Even when you are living with your significant other without having sexual relations, cohabitation should not be done. It causes grave scandal to those who find out about your living arrangement (it is a sin to scandalize someone), and it creates a near occasion of sin for the two people involved. Finally, from a sociological point of view, studies have shown that couples who cohabitate before marriage are twice as likely to get a divorce as those couples who wait until after they are married. No matter how you look at it, cohabitation is not a good situation, and the Church has always advised against it.
Catholics are buried just like everyone else. But they think it is wrong to be cremated.
it was mean and disgarceful.
Catholics began with the apostles; the word Catholic means Universal. The catholics started in Rome I think about 100 years after the birth of Christ
As there are Catholics in practically every country in the world, I'm not sure what you mean by that question.
One advantage of a cohabiting family is increased financial efficiency, as shared living expenses can reduce individual financial burdens. Additionally, cohabiting families can provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a sense of community and connection within the household.
Is this a serious question?
