Christians feel both joy and sadness when they see the cross.
Sadness, because they know that Jesus died on the cross to remove all the sin or things we do wrong, from them so that they can have a relationship with God and have eternal life.
Joy, because they know that Jesus died because he loved them soooo much and that now they can have a relationship with God and when they die, live on for eternity in the perfect place, Heaven.
Because it reminds them that Jesus died on the cross to forgive Christians (like me) of our sins
Because Jesus, the person on whom Christianity is based, died on a cross.
the christians are reminded that jesus died on the cross
Christians use the cross as a reminder of Jesus being crucified.
because the star in their religion is just like the cross for christians its a sign of the Jews faith
The Bible, the cross.
You see crosses because in the Christian religion Jesus died on a cross and it is therefore now a holy symbol used frequently, it is also the Christian symbol and so many christians wear them as a sign of there faith or put them on churches and other holy places.
The True Cross.
The symbol of Christianity is the cross because it reminds Christians that Jesus died on a cross for them. Yea.
There is nothing in the Bible that says a Christian has to make the sign of the cross. Making the sign of the cross is a man made tradition and has no Biblical basis or meaning. Additionally, some 'born again' Christians do make the sign of the cross.
The empty cross represents the Resurrection, for after Jesus died and was removed from the cross leaving an empty cross. He arose after 3 days.
The cross symbolizes atonement and reminds all Christians of Gods love. The cross can be formed in all different shapes and sizes. Although during the 1st two centuries it reminded christians of public executions.
