Basically, stewardship is the idea that God created and therefore owns all of creation. It is ours to use, so it is our responsibility to use it for the work of God and the work of man. We are told to put his wealth to work. That implies not wasting resources and preserving what we are given.
It is also the answer to "How can the rich be Christian?" @#$&&& yes
Stewardship means to faithfully "steward" all that God has entrusted to a believer. Christians believe that everything good comes from God. This includes things like: relationships, families, jobs, money, time, energy, intellect etc; and it includes the believers response in obedience to the law of Christ (namely Matthew. 5-7).
Jesus taught that if one were a good steward of the things that were entrusted to an individual He would reward them in eternity. Matthew 25 and Luke 19 both tell parables of a man (who represents Jesus) going off a to a distant land and leaving resource to his servants. When He returned, He rewards those who are faithful (good stewards) of what had been entrusted to them.
They try to make fishes blink because they feel very sorry that they can sleep and the poor little old fishes cant they believe that this is helping God and his fishes of the fishy fish world hope this has helped you!
In my opinion, I think the answer can be found in 2 Corinthians 11:8 as spoken by 'Apostle' Paul - the man who in my view started the religion of Christianity.
