The freely given gift from God that makes us holy when we receive Holy Communion is called grace. In the context of the Eucharist, this grace strengthens our relationship with God and helps us grow in holiness. It is through this sacrament that believers participate in the divine life and receive spiritual nourishment.
People in good standing with their own church, those who normally receive Holy Communion in their own churches. This is as well as Anglicans, who are expected to have prepared for this by prayer and fasting beforehand. Reconciliation (confession) is also available for those who are in need of it.

Lk:22:19: And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 1Cor:11:24: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 1Cor:11:25: After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
Communion is given to the faithful all 365 days a year. There is no day when the mass is not celebrated (except Good Friday still communion is given).
it is called the host, it is the body of jesus christ it is given out when you do your communion. you take the bread when you had your communion.
No, of course not. Otherwise priests who celebrate (and receive communion) sometimes several times daily would sin more than most! Traditionally in the last century a guideline of 'once a day' was given in some churches, but this was never a hard and fast rule, and was not scriptural anyway. Provided that you receive the bread and wine in the appropriate manner, with love, humility, gratitude, and repentance, it is perfectly Ok to receive communion more than once in a day. I think that God is far more concerned with the contents of our characters and our hearts than on whether or not we receive communion more than once a day. Some people go to church in the morning and then go to a worship service in the afternoon, taking communion both times. It is not inappropriate.
As of current times, the RC church does not recognize nor practice 'open communion' with other religions. Their belief is that this would imply that all Christian churches are 'united as one' which in their eyes is not so. Most other Christian/Protestant churches welcome any RC parishioner with open arms to participate in Holy Communion. As long as the person believe that Jesus Christ is their Savior, they are welcome to share in this Holy meal.
A special minister of holy communion is a lay person who is given the opportunity to help the priest or presider in a Mass to distribute Holy Communion. A special minister of holy communion may also give holy communion to the sick.
At First Communion the child receives Christ in the Blessed Sacrament for the very first time in his/her life(hence "FIRST"). At Confirmation, the young adult receives the Seal of the Holy Spirit.
