What do you do when God doesnt speak to you anymore?

Don't lose faith. God is always, there even if he is not speaking, he is listening. Whatever, has happened to you, just think on the positive side. I lost faith once, but now I fully believe in god, even though I don't know exactly what I believe. Just keep speaking to him, and he will soon have something to say.

A:If you believe you desperately need God, but he does not answer you, this can be for a number of reasons,such as:

• God is testing you;
• God is unable to help you;
• God can help you but chooses not to;
• What you want from God is improper or inappropriate;
• God does not actually exist.

What you should do in each case depends on your faith.

• If you believe God is testing you, ask yourself why. Think about what God wants from you and ask yourself whether, if you pass the test, God will really do anything to help you.
• If you believe God is unable to help you, then consider what your image of God should be. For example, is he really omnipotent? Are you asking too much of God?
• If you believe God can help you but chooses not to, once again ask yourself why. Is your own character flawed, or is God less just and caring than you have believed?
• If God chooses not to help you because what you want from God is improper or inappropriate, or because he has other plans, you can only reassess your spiritual expectations.
• Finally, if God does not exist, there is no point in hoping that God will help you. Remember that if God does not exist, this will be true whether you refuse to accept the fact, or otherwise. Your choice is to do for yourself whatever is in your power to do, or to seek help from others who may be able to help you.

Philosophically, I have offered a number of alternative explanations and what you can reasonably do in each case. It is for you to decide, in your own circumstances, which of those explanations best fits your experience and expectations.
