Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
Christianity and Islam both trace their roots to Judaism.
Abraham is considered the father of Judaism, Christianity and Islam as the Old Testament's 5 books of Moses - The Pentateuch (books are: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numeri and Deuteronomy) are included in the Holy Book of Judaism that is Torah. Eventually he is considered as the father of Islam basically claims entire religions of Judaism and Christianity as "prophets" and predecessors of Islam.

The connection between Islam, Christianity and Judaism is that the three religions trace their history to the covenant between God and Abraham.

Christianity and Islam have similar religious roots in the Middle East although what was believed about individual characters represented may diverge very greatly. For example, in Christianity Jesus is the savior, but in Islam he is a prophet.

Islam is the major religion of the Middle East, appearing after Christianity and Judaism. There are also important minority religions like the Bahá'í Faith, Yazdânism, Zoroastrianism, Mandeanism, Druze, Yarsan, Yazidism and Shabakism, and in ancient times the region was home to Mesopotamian Religion, Canaanite Religion, Manicheanism, Mithraism and various Monotheist Gnostic sects.
There are two simple descriptions:1. They are all Abrahamic religions as they trace their roots to Abraham, the father of the Jewish nation.2. They are monotheistic - ie, those who adhere to the religions woorship only one God, whether it is HaShem (Judaism), Allah (Islam) or The Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Christianity).
