What does Christmas have to do with Jesus?

There is no Biblical record of Jesus--or any other 1st-century Christian--celebrating Jesus's birthday (or any other Christian's birthday, for that matter).

There are only two birthday celebrations in The Bible. Both accounts are of people who are not servants of God, and at both celebrations, a man is killed.

Matthew 14:1-11, Mark 6:21-29 -- District ruler Herod has John the Baptizer beheaded. ==Opinion== For Christians, Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ. The word Christmas is a contraction of Christ's mass.

Christmas is the time of the year that we celebrate Jesus' birth into the world by the virgin Mary. We don't know exactly which day He was born, but December 25 is the day we celebrate.

You can find the Christmas story in the four gospels in the Bible: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They are the first four books of the New Testement. I hope you will read them and discover for yourself that Christmamas is not about presents or dinner with friends, its about the birth of our savior, who came to Earth to save everyone of us from our sins. :D

Christmas may be connected with Jesus the Greek deity, but the Jewish Messiah Yeshua of the bible has nothing whatsoever to do with pagan holidays as such. Neither do people who follow the bible.
