Jesus says that "Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." (John 3:5) Our biological or physical birth into the world is our first birth. This birth does not bring salvation. Our second birth when we are "born again" is our Baptism by triple immersion into water, which is done in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This second or spiritual birth is the one that leads us to the kingdom of God. The Church has practised Basptism into "water and the Spirit" from the earliest days, from when Jesus was immersed into the River Jordan by John the Baptist. After baptism, a person is Christmated with holy oil, which represents the Spirit. So to be 'born again spiritually' one needs to be a baptised and chrismated member of the Church.
There is no way to answer this question due absense of definition of 'born again'. It could mean reincarnation or the Christian expression of baptism and renewal of life in Christ.
You become Born Again in Christ.
It symbolizes that he/she is "born again" and is a new person in Christ Hope that helps!(:
To be Born Again means that one has been Baptized in Christ.
All born again believers of Jesus Christ are the true church or body of Christ. The true church is not a building as some think, but a relationship with Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit, (born again spiritually).
yes
The Imitation of Christ is a Catholic book. I'm not sure of the relationship between born-again Christians, fundamentalists, and Catholics. I think they are separate.
A born again Christian, one that has accepted Jesus Christ as the one and only way to heaven, and who then follows after Christ, not just in Biblical teachings but in their everyday life in prayer, reading and studying the Scriptures in devotion to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We become Born Again in Christ Jesus.
The Sacrament of Baptism is how one becomes Born Again in Christ the Lord. When a person is Baptized, he dies with Christ; in the Tomb with Christ, & rises with Christ.
The belief of being born again first comes from when the pharisee named Nicodemus came to Christ and said, "how do i get to heaven?" He was a religous man who knew the Torah but still it couldnt save him. Jesus replied "You must be born again to see the kingdom of heaven". Being born again is a conversion of the Holy Spirit making the man hate his sin and cling ti Christ and what is good. Something supernatural given by grace not by works. Different from religon. People born again are saved by faith of Christ dying on the cross for their sins. And only God can call and lead the sinner to repentace and revealing the Son to the sinner.... you must be born again to get to heaven
Well if he didnt believe in Christ before then he would have been Anti- Christ
