Mt:6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

This verse simply say that we should put (I assume that you are referring to this verse)first God's wishes, which are the following:

Micah:6:8: He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Deut :10:12-13 :And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Mt:22:37: Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Mt:22:39: And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

So to put it simply, to seek righteousness is to do all that is within our power to be like him;to be seeking to mold ourselves in every particular into his image.

Deut:4:29: But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
