What does it mean when you dream of your dad dying and you get a video message that shows how your dad died?

This happened to me - a family member also, I dreamed exactly what happened 7 days later, my mother and friend can testify because obviously I told them about the dream when it happened, there is no easy answer, don't want to state the obvious but it was a warning and also I personally think that you may have been given the warning to help you for when it actually happened and I also think that you must've had a strong link to your dad and you must've had a very deep connection. when it happened to me, it was easier to deal with cos it was like I had already gone through it 7 days earlier, I am very sorry for your loss or who ever suffered this loss, death is a tragic event in everyones life esp. the death of a parent. I hope you see that you perhaps have a little gift or a very strong connection with your dad or both.Pay attention to your dreams esp, the really vivid ones - the ones that you never forget. Unless your own father is seriously ill, the dream probably is about your growing independence and freedom from parental authority. The dying father represents external authority that comes from parents, teachers, supervisors, etc., and will be replace by your own internal authority which is your own sense of right and wrong and your ability to make your own decisions.
