What does the Bible say about the end time battle?

After describing the end time to us in Luke 21 [Matt.24 & Mark 13]... Jesus tells us:

"WATCH ye therefore, and PRAY always, that ye may be ACCOUNTED WORTHY to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." (Luke 21:36)

"For this cause we also... do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all Wisdom and Spiritual Understanding; that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the Knowledge of God..." (Colossians 1:9-10)

"...We ought always to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love every one of you has for each other is increasing.

"Therefore, among God's churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutionsand trials you are enduring.

"All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be ACCOUNTED WORTHY of the Kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.

"God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with His powerful angels.

"He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of His power on the Day He comes to be glorified in His Holy People and to be marveled at among all those who have believed.

"This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.

"With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may COUNT YOU WORTHY of His calling, and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith." (II Thess.1:3-11 NIV)

According to The Bible... the way to prepare for the end times, is to be accounted worthy to escape God's wrath at His coming -- which is done by "growing" in the Love, Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding of Christ Jesus through the instruction of the Holy Spirit.

"...If ye continue in My Word, then are ye My disciples indeed; and ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free." (John 8:31-32)

How do you prepare for the end times?

"Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of My God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.

"Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with Me, dressed in white, for THEY ARE WORTHY." (Rev.3:2-4 NIV)

Grow in Christ, that you may be accounted worthy of His calling.

The final battle will not be at Armageddon, which is the gathering place for the large armies of mankind. As they approach Jerusalem to fight Jesus, they will be destroyed.
