First of all, pain and suffering came into the world as a result of sin. When Adam and Eve compromised God's Word to them and ate the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, sin was officially in the human bloodstream (Genesis 3:6; Romans 5:12). If humans wouldn't have sinned, there wouldn't be pain and suffering. God is loving and perfect, so if we wouldn't of messed up, everything would be perfect about us, because God made us in His image (Genesis 1:27).

Luckily, God doesn't leave those who have trusted in Christ as their Savior on their own!

Hebrews 13:5

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."

And also,

"3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

God says that we should consider hardship pure joy (James 1:2-4)

Man, if only we all could have that mentality!

God bless!
