Jesus told us that we must be born again of the spirit to see God who is spirit. This physical world is only temporary and the spiritual world is eternal.
Disciples must follow Christ in all things. Just as God the Father begot Him, we humans when we repent and get baptized (Acts 2:38-39) must also be begotten by God's Holy Spirit. Then we begin to grow like an embryo until our Resurrection to spiritual children of God.
God placed a spirit in man to join with His Spirit upon our repentance. This is His plan for His future family from before the foundations of the world. Without the joining of God's Holy Spirit into man's spirit, we will surely die the 2nd death.

Jesus had to ascend to heaven so that the Holy Spirit could come to be with his followers on Earth. This was part of God's plan to empower and guide believers after Jesus' physical presence on Earth ended.
The Holy Spirit scripture provides guidance for those who are willing to listen by offering wisdom, comfort, and direction in making decisions and living a righteous life. It encourages believers to seek God's will, trust in His plan, and follow His teachings with faith and obedience.
Praying in the Holy Spirit means communicating with God through the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit. It involves speaking from the heart and aligning one's prayers with God's will. This type of prayer can deepen one's relationship with God, increase spiritual discernment, and bring about a sense of peace and empowerment. It can also lead to a greater understanding of God's plan for one's life and a stronger connection to the Christian community.
God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. In the fullness of time, God the Father sent his Son as the Redeemer and Savior of mankind, fallen into sin, thus calling all into his Church and, through the work of the Holy Spirit, making them adopted children and heirs of his eternal happiness.
Before Jesus descended into Heaven, he informed his disciples (the remaining 11 apostles) and others of His following that the Holy Spirit would be upon them, enlightening them as to Gods plan and their evangelistic work. A concise explanation may be found in 'The Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 2'
