Gentleness, Piety, Fear of the Lord.
Fruits, in the context of the Holy Spirit's presence in one's life, refer to the qualities and characteristics that reflect the presence of the Holy Spirit. These fruits, such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, are seen as evidence of the Holy Spirit working in a person's life. By embodying these fruits, individuals demonstrate their connection to the Holy Spirit and their commitment to living a life guided by spiritual values.
When a person is "Born Again" or becomes a true Christian, they receive the Holy Spirit and He dwells in them forever. But you can "grieve" the Holy Spirit by continual sinning and by not repenting and confessing your sin to God. The Holy Spirit still dwells in you but will not respond to you or give you comfort, in fact He will cause you misery until you stop your sin and confess it to God. When you "get right" with God the Holy Spirit will be evident in your life again.
Saint Anthony demonstrated the fruits of the Holy Spirit in his life through his humility, compassion, and selflessness. He devoted himself to a life of prayer, fasting, and caring for the poor and sick, exhibiting virtues such as love, joy, and patience in all he did. He practiced forgiveness, generosity, and faithfulness, reflecting the transformative power of the Holy Spirit in his actions.
For sure the close followers of Christ had the fruits of the spirit. They were the men and women closest to the Saviour and He bestowed on them the Holy Spirit, that they might spread the word of Christ's sacrafice and as an example to all humans to live a Christ-like life, to obey God's commandment, and to love one another as He loved us. That is the sole purpose of man.
The Fruits of the Spirit are qualities that Christians believe are given by the Holy Spirit. They are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These qualities manifest in a person's life through their actions, attitudes, and relationships, showing a deep connection to their faith and a positive impact on others.

The Holy Spirit gives life to the Church.
My thoughts are that fruit or gifts of the Holy Spirit are not things that a believer receives once and then it's all over. The fruit of the Spirit are qualities that are developed over time as the christian matures. The gifts of the spirit are given when needed
the holy spirit comes to people through confirmationHoly Spirit has nothing to do with "Confirmation".The Holy spirit is the third Person of Godhead. In Old-Testament times Holy spirit was working in life of specific person at a specific time for a definite purpose. Even the dictation of Word of God by inspiration was done by the Holy Spirit. Then after the day of Pentecost the Promise of outpouring was fulfilled. Acts 2:1-4.The work of conviction in the life of an unsaved person is done by the Holy Spirit. (John16:8-9).So for today the baptism (Immersion ) in Holy spirit is a separate experience in life of a convicted- transformed person.
God's gift to you is a life and the Holy Spirit.
