DeColores is spanish for the colors. The term DeColores came about from Monks that marveled at all the colors that God had provided. It is a term used within a group called Emmaus. Emmaus is a weekend gathering where Christians are allowed to see the love of Jesus through other Christians. Nothing wierd, just Christians teaching and showing other Christians how much Jesus loves them. It is a great experience. A weekend getaway with a Christian theme. The weekend is called a "walk". It comes from when after Jesus was crucified and some of the disciples were walking on the road to the city of Emmaus they encountered Jesus. They did not know it was Him but later on they thought about it and asked themselves, "Did not our hearts burn within us?" It's a great spirit filled weekend that lasts your whole life.
