if by destiny you mean "where we're going to end up", it is theoreticaly mathematicaly possible to predict, I believe Steven Hawking's very fond of that argument.

The idea behind it is quite simple, in example: if you know where 2 objects (A and B) are and know their speed, mass etc, you can calculate exactly where they'll be in say 5 seconds.

The principle is the same, just on the Universal scale, if you know everything about the universe at a particular time, you can predict where/what everything will be a second later. (however it is impossible to know everything about everything and be able to comprihend/compute it at the same instance of time, inside this universe)

however if this theory is proven, we can say goodbye to free will.
