Moses is famous for essentially two things. As a leader he brought the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt. As a man who was brought up in pharaoh's house and educated with 'all the learning of the Egyptians', he evidently knew how to write, since he is also credited with authorship of the Pentateuch. In regard to the last four books, he was a personal participant in much that transpired. In relation to Genesis, he evidently either recorded or else edited previous material.

The Bible tells us that Moses was the great leader who took the Israelites out of Egypt but was never allowed to enter the Promised Land, spending forty years wandering in the wilderness. History will inevitably remember Moses differently, as there was never really an Exodus from Egypt as described in the Bible. History will look at the sociological and theological bases for the story of Moses and remember him through these and also the impact the Moses story had on subsequent Hebrew and Christian beliefs.

Moses is not traditionally remembered as a warrior, but rather as a prophet and leader of the Israelites. His story in the Bible focuses on his role in leading the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and receiving the Ten Commandments from God on Mount Sinai. While Moses displayed courage and strength in his leadership, he is not depicted as a warrior in the same way as figures like Joshua or David.
Most Christians would hold that Moses wrote Deuteronomy, although the obvious difficulty about the account of Moses' death causes questions for some. What must be remembered is that in claiming substantial Mosaic authorship of the Pentateuch, it does not necessarily mean that Moses wrote every single word. Nor does this affect the word being God's inspired word if someone such as Joshua added the epilogue about Moses' death.
I'd say it's because he either wasn't considered important in Egyptian history or because the pharaoh of that time didn't want such an embarrasing occasion to be remembered
Moseses, Moses' Moses's Moses, moses'
Aaron and Miriam were the leaders of the Children of Israel at a pivotal time in our history: Aaron was Moses' older brother. He was born in 2365, three years before Moses, before the Pharaoh's edict requiring the death of male Hebrew children. Aaron's most notable personal quality is that he was a peacemaker.
