Sikhs do not believe in rituals as such, salvation is obtained by merging with God, primarily through prayer/meditation and also avoiding the 5 evils:
Kaam = lust/addiction (specifically sexual relationships outside martial bonds; although Kaam refers to relationships, in terms of addiction, intoxication of any sort is strongly forbidden)
Krodh = rage, anger (so should live with humility, modesty etc)
Lobh = greed (earning an honest living and sharing with others)
Moh = attachment (deep attachment to worldly things e.g. money, power, etc things that won't accompany you on your journey after you die)
Ahankar = ego and excessive pride (about status, beauty, talents, intelligence, charity work etc)
Sikhism does not consider itself to be the best religion. Sikhism believes in multiple ways to salvation, therefore Sikhism does not have monopoly over salvation nor just calling yourself Sikh one can get salvation. Sikhism is one of the ways to attain salvation just as there are Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism,Islam,Christianity, Judaism, Taoism,........... Therefore, its not which religion is best but which religion helps you become better yourself. Hope this helps,
The holy scripture of Sikhism is Guru Granth Sahib Ji.Please not that outside Sikhism the sacred writing is called Holy Scripture but within Sikhism it is not seen as holy scripture but is treated as living embodiment of Sikh Gurus and as such treated as a Guru.
There is nothing special about being a Sikh. Just as every religion has its own idea about God,life, death, beginning, end, salvation etc. So does Sikhism has its own idea.
There are many places where one would be able to view the Terminator Salvation trailer. One could view this trailer on online video sharing websites such as YouTube.

This is encouraged (as opposed to separation or divorce).
Sikhism as a religion believes in multiple ways of salvation. Sikhism does not have monopoly over salvation, nor just by calling yourself Sikh you get salvation. Therefore, Jesus is seen as just one of the ways to attain salvation just as there is Islam, Buddhism, Jainism, Judaism, Hinduism, Taoism,.......................... Sikhs don't believe in Jesus the way Christians believe in Jesus.
The Lutheran view on predestination is that God has predestined some individuals for salvation, but this is based on His foreknowledge of their faith and not on any predetermined fate. This means that individuals have free will to accept or reject God's offer of salvation.
In Christianity, women gained access to spiritual salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. In Buddhism, women have the potential for spiritual enlightenment and liberation through the practice of the teachings of the Buddha. In Sikhism, women have equal rights to salvation as men through devotion to one God and living a truthful life.
