These are the top two questions and mistakes I've seen about the LDS religion:
1. They aren't allowed to use technology
2. They are allowed to have multiple wives/practice polygamy
In answer to the first, that's the Amish, not Mormons. And, no, LDS no longer practice polygamy. True, there is a Fundamental Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that practices polygamy (and has been on the news quite a bit...), it is not to be part of the original church.
Things Mormons don't do are:
practice polygamy (after 1890)
have sex outside of a legal heterosexual monogamous marriage
do drugs or drink alcohol
dress provocatively
use lots of profane language
encourage murder, violence and hate crimes
Yes, Mormons can swim and swimming is generally allowed in the Mormon faith.
Yes, LDS Online is a Mormon online dating service. While you do not have to be Mormon in order to join or search, you are not allowed to post or contact Mormon members if you are not one.

The significance of the Book of Mormon in German lies in its role in spreading the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to German-speaking populations. The translation of the Book of Mormon into German has allowed for the dissemination of Mormon beliefs and principles to a wider audience, contributing to the growth and influence of the church in German-speaking countries.
It's possible, although it's more likely that you have a crush. Unfortunately, Mormon missionaries are not allowed to date or even be alone with someone other than their assigned missionary companion. So if you are in love with a Mormon Missionary, you'll have to wait until his/her mission is over to do anything about it.
No, infact, Mormons are Christians themselves. Christians define themselves as followers of Christ-Mormons are followers of Christ-thus, they are Christians. Anything said about Christians of different denominations not being allowed to be with a Mormon is a myth.
Yes. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church) does not have any doctrine or standard regarding gun ownership. If gun ownership is legal where a Mormon resides, they may own guns if they wish.
There is nothing in Mormon beliefs that would prevent doctors from giving lifesaving treatment to save a child's life. Blood transfusions are allow, surgeries are allowed, anything that is necessary is allowed. So, unless there were some other problem completely unrelated to Mormon beliefs, there would be no reason for Child Protective Services to intervene in any degree.
Calpoly is a university, not a human, and no, it is not a Mormon university.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) currently has no official policies regarding Freemasons or Freemasonry. Mormons are allowed to be Freemasons and Freemasons are allowed to be Mormons, but Mormon Freemasons are asked to put their religious obligations ahead of their obligations to Freemasonry. For a short period of time, this was not the case, and Mormons were asked to avoid joining the Freemasons and other fraternal organizations.
According to the Book of Mormon, all the Nephites were destroyed except for the Three Nephites, who were allowed to tarry as John the Beloved in the service of Jesus Christ. Those who remain from the Book of Mormon peoples are the Lamanites, who it is believed have been mixed in with the indiginous people of North and South America.
David Archuleta is LDS,Or Mormon.
