All zealots are the same - so convinced that their understanding of "right" is the only one possible and they have the privilege of fighting and killing others for it. Generally they are fanatics.

Only the Bahai Faith specifically forbids its followers to be fanatics, or zealots or to fight with others. Buddhists are next to Bahais in being least likely to be zealots or fanatics.

Perhaps you mean "Catholic Zealot" as it's just Catholic, not Roman Catholic. Roman is an epithet first commonly used in England after the protestant revolt to describe the Catholic Church. It is never used by the official Catholic Church.

A Catholic Zealot-well the only time I have seen the term used it by people to describe themselves as zealous for Our Blessed Lord. They are Catholics who take their faith in God seriously, take up their cross daily to follow Him, and try ,out of love, to share their faith.

They follow an extremely severe version of Orthodox Judaism, and can even be violent towards anyone who's not like themselves.
