An offering of fire, or burnt sacrifice, was an offering given up to God by a priest as a means of Thanksgiving, atonement, and cleansing. On Yom Kippur there would be a cheif sacrifice offered upon the brazen altar as well as a sprinkling of blood upon the lid of the Ark Of The Covenant. Yeshua Ha Mashiach became our sacrifice and his death was foretold in Isaiah 53 and Psalms 22. His sacrifice was an eternal atonement.
