Why do you think that Christianity is confusing? It is actually very simple

1. God created the world to be perfect.

2. Adam and Eve sinned and so the world became sinful and not perfect, therefore, everyone is born and inherits a sin nature. thus no one is perfect, everyone sins.

3. In the days before Jesus Christ, the people had to attone for their sins by sacrifices.

4. Jesus was born. Jesus was fully God and fully man. He was the perfect man ever to live on earth but yet he was God. He died on the cross to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. He died of the cross and rose again from the dead conquering death which is the wages of sin.

5. Now, all you have to do is believe that he died on the cross and rose again for you and you will be saved and forgiven of your sins.

6. You will want to live you life for Him

7. When you die, you will go to heaven to spend eternity, forever with him in paradise.

This good news is called the Gospel and all you have to do is believe and accept Jesus into you life to be saved. There are no good works that you have to do. It is a gift of God. the Gospel can be summed up in this.

God created us to be with him.

Our sins separate us from God

Sins cannot be paid for by good works or deeds

Paying the penalty for sin, Jesus Christ died and rose again

Everyone who believes on Jesus Christ is saved from their sin.

Life eternal means that after death we will live with him forever.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through me."

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates His own love in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9,13 - That if you confess with you mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and it is not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast.

Try to understand this. If you have any questions, ask a trusted Christian friend.
