The notion of a deity causing the process of evolution by natural selection is referred to as 'theistic evolution'. However, it is often called 'evolutionary creationism' if the concept of God as Creator is wanted to be emphasised. There are many different types however; some believe that God caused the laws which subsequently govern the natural world and the evolution process; others believe that God continually sustains the process and shapes its future. The former is a bit like God winding up a pocket watch and then letting it work independently; the latter is more like God writing on a piece of paper - if He stops writing, the process will stop; it is continuous activity.

I don't think that you could accurately determine the percentage. There are those that believe in creation and those that believe in evolution. A large part of those that say they believe in creation also believe in evolution to some degree. If you are taking a count of who believes what, put me down for creation with no evolution.
Sir Arthur Keith who believes in evolution said, "Evolution is unproved and unprovable. We believe it ONLY because the only alternative is special creation, and that is unthinkable."

No one has to believe in evolution. Evolution vs creation doesn't really affect our everyday lives that much. We're still ourselves, whether we were created or evolved. It'd be helpful to believe in evolution if you're a scientist in biology and/or archaeology. Some jobs wouldn't make much sense from a creationist perspective.
They a strong believers of creation, since they believe in the creation of Adam and Eve as revealed by the Quran. Also the Quran teaches that God had created the universe in 7 days where he created everything explicitly and rested on his throne in the 7th day
