Nowhere in The Bible is there a reference to the carpentry techniques that Noah employed in making his ark. The only indication is found in the vessel's dimensions. God told Noah to build the ark 300 cubits long by 50 cubits wide by 30 cubits high. That information was given in Genesis 6:15. Additionally, there was a distance of 18 inches between the roof and the sides. So that would have been enough to allow for at least one window that may or may not have been continuous.
