yes...

It is actually called Shabbat. We believe that on the seventh day that G-d created the earth he rested, so this is the day that we are supposed to rest. The Shabbat kicks in in America when the sun sets on Friday, when is when the women or girls, starting at age three, light the Shabbat candles. Each kid lights one candle, and the mother lights two big ones, and another how many for each one of the kids. The two big ones bless the whole family. Then they pray, the mother blesses the children, and then prays by herself (prayers that are written). Aftrwards, the man of the house, usually the father, reads the first two paragraphs of our bible, called the torah, over the dining table which is for dinner. (Everyone stands up until you eat the challah)Directly after completing the prayer, he takes the two pieces of bread, which we call challah (a special kind of bread), stands their backs against each other, and rips the ends off. then he rips a small piece from those peices and throws them on each person's plate. Then he takes a sip from the grape wine in the special cup and sits down. We are supposed to rest, not drive anywhere, and walk to temple until Saturday night when the sun sets.
