The Bible in reference to living a long life did not have any limitations. See ecclesiastes 3 and it details a time to be born and a time to die. The age at which you die is according to the life span that God has blessed you with. The term three scores and ten was a relations to the Israelites in the wilderness and because of there complaining, God gave this as a testament to those that were of a ripe age. Does this mean that three scores and ten are a true testament for us today can be answered in this form. God's word is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Can we live past the three score and ten. Yes we can because there are a lot of people living to well in there eighties, nineties, and even into there hundreds. Does this mean that God lied. No he has not, God's promises last forever and if you have lived passed the three score and ten, count your blessings and praise God from whom all blessings flow.
