Free space is space that is available to be filled or used for some purpose. Emptiness is the state of containing nothing, but as all space contains something there is no place that is completely empty. I might add that a vacuum is not competely empty.

Difference between vacuum and free space?

Vacuum is a space entirely devoid of matter, including air. Free space, on the other hand, refers to areas of space that have very low density of matter, such as outer space. While vacuum implies the absence of any substance, free space can still contain some matter, albeit at very low levels.

What is the difference between unallocated and free space in Windows Vista?

In Windows Vista, unallocated space refers to disk space that has not been assigned to any partition or volume, while free space is the available space within an existing partition that can be used for data storage. Unallocated space cannot be used until it is formatted and assigned to a partition, whereas free space can be immediately utilized for file storage or for creating new files within an existing partition. Essentially, unallocated space is "unused" space that needs to be set up, while free space is "available" space within a partition.

What is the relationship between the electric field intensity (E), charge density (q), and permittivity of free space ()?

The relationship between the electric field intensity (E), charge density (q), and permittivity of free space () is given by the equation E q / (). This equation shows that the electric field intensity is directly proportional to the charge density and inversely proportional to the permittivity of free space.

What is the relationship between the electric field (E), permittivity of free space (), and electric charge density () in a given system?

The relationship between the electric field (E), permittivity of free space (), and electric charge density () in a given system is described by Gauss's Law, which states that the electric field (E) at a point in space is directly proportional to the electric charge density () at that point and inversely proportional to the permittivity of free space (). Mathematically, this relationship is represented as E / .
