While it is not fully known by historians what is the oldest religion in North America, it is probably the folk religion of the peoples who came over the Bering Land Bridge at the end of the Pleistocene epoch. This religon may be similar to the mythology of the Eskimos, and other indigineous peoples of the far northwest regions of North America.
