Opinion:
Although The Bible doesn't spell it out in so many words... in so many words, the evidence is overwhelming that the "Glorious Land" is the biblical region of "Judaea"... the region in and around Jerusalem - the focal point from which the Bible looks out on the world.
In Daniel's second usage of "the Glorious Land" in verse 41... he mentions some of the regions around the Glorious Land that won't be overthrown and occupied. They are Edom [Turkey], Moab [Iraq], and the chief of the children of Ammon [the Jordanians].
Egypt is also mentioned as being occupied by the invading "King of the North" [probably the prophesied Beast {a united European power some call the Antichrist}] who responds to a "push" by a "King of the South" [probably a soon-coming Persian or Iranian leader who finally possesses the nuclear clout he believes is god's will to fulfill his religious destiny]. Egypt is also in the surrounding vicinity of Judaea, the "Glorious Land."
