The major books of Christianity are The Bible and the Cathechism of Catholic church.Cathechism is the interpretation of the Catholics about God in the Bible.

For some other books, from a Protestant perspective, we could list "The Institutes of the Christian Religion" by John Calvin, "The Resurrection of the Son of God" by N.T. Wright, and "Mere Christianity" by C S Lewis.

Of course St. Augustine's "Confessons" and "The Trinity" are also important, as is St. Thomas Aquinas book "Summa Theologica", and both Catholics and Protestants would agree on these two.
